Who We Are
The Colorado
Association of Certified Closers, Inc. (CACC) is an association of people
who focus on making sure Real Estate transactions close quickly,
professionally and virtually stress-free. We come from offices of lenders, Realtors, law firms,
title, escrow, closing and document preparation companies... Just about any
kind of business where Real Estate transactions are a primary focus.

the interest of closing personnel employed in the offices of Lending
Institutions, Real Estate Firms, Title Insurance Companies and allied
businesses.

the integrity, dignity and responsibility of its members in their duty to
employers and clients.

opportunities through educational programs designed to increase the
knowledge, skill and techniques of persons in the closing profession.

minimum acceptable level of competency for members in the closing
profession.
State & National
Affiliations
The Colorado
Association of Certified Closers, Inc., a 501(c)3 Non-profit Corporation
comprised of several chapters around Colorado. This State Organization is
part the American Escrow Association (AEA), a National Organization of
settlement professionals. Membership in any local Chapter provides membership
in both the State and National Associations. At each level, members are
offered educational and networking opportunities and periodic professional
publications.
When and Where We Meet
Each local
chapter meets regularly. Meetings feature qualified speakers on topics related
to real estate transactions, and may be a breakfast, lunch or dinner meeting.
From time to time, local chapters may offer a workshop or seminar on a topic
of interest to the real estate closing community.
The CACC State
Organization meets quarterly with full day educational programs, usually
encompassing several topics and speakers. Locations vary around Colorado.
The American
Escrow Association's Annual Conference offers several days of educational
programs.
Member Qualifications
Qualifications
for active membership are defined as a person who is employed by a Real Estate
Firm, Lending Institution, Title Insurance Company, Document Preparation
Company, or any other allied business, who subscribes to the objectives of the
association.
Certification
No, you don't have to be certified to participate in CACC,
although we do offer the opportunity to learn and to become certified with one
of the following professional designations:
Certification
requires specific levels of education and experience in order to sit for the
exam, which is given twice per year.
